Minutes for Delta Gamma exec meeting
January 11, 2007
Present: Jana Grisham, Mandy Pfister, Gina Knauff, Emily Jones, Krista Rapp, Ann McCarty, Shana Herrman and Holly Harrington
Absent: Karla Goewert, Alicia Israelson, Carol Womack, Jenni Glusek, Jill Crotty, Brooke Albright and Kristi Ham
Jana Grisham, President –
Jana welcomed Emily Jones to the VP Membership position.
Jana assigned a directory page to each board member and asked each board member to contact their page and verify each member’s contact information. Jana asked that the board complete this task by February 15. If there are changes, this information can be emailed to Emily Jones at emilyj_dgshocker@yahoo.com
Jana announced that the wine tasting is scheduled for February 10 at Jana Grisham’s house. Jana will send out more information to Alumnae via email.
Ann McCarty, Special Events -
Ann reminded Jana Grisham, Michelle Vogue and Mandy Pfister that they will be providing the collegian dinner for February. Jana and Mandy selected Monday, February 19th.
Ann suggested raising dues to cover the cost of mailing the directory to dues paying members. Krista Rapp suggested adding a check box to next year’s dues slip that asks alumnae to select whether or not they want the directory mailed to their residence. This will be further discussed, however the next directory mailing is scheduled for February 19th.
Mandy Pfister, Panhellenic –

Shana Herman, VP Programming –
Shana announced that the next Dining with DG dinner will be at the new Cedar on Tuesday, February 27th at 7 pm.
Krista Rapp, ATC –

Emily Jones, VP Membership –

Gina Knauff, Lectureship –
Gina volunteered to help Jill Crotty plan for the Senior Bridging Ceremony.

Carol Womack, Corresponding Secretary –
Carol sent photographs from the Christmas Brunch to the Anchora.
Alicia Israelson, Treasurer –
Alicia reported that there are 78 dues paying members. This is 26 members short of our goal.
New Business
The next meet Delta Gamma exec meeting will be Thursday, February 15th at the Delta Gamma house.
Jana Grisham and Holly Harrington are exploring a Spring event that may include a Shocker baseball game for members and their families – more details to come.
